DYNAMIC PARK

With large windshields that require long arms and 45mm/1.77in 54mm/2.13in
blades, the dynamic park feature is necessary to park 60mm/2.36in
the wiper in the correct location. The momentum 30mm/1.18in
created by the larger wiper systems can cause the 129mm/5.08in 205mm/8.07in
wiper to coast past the park position if power to the
wiper motor is simply shut off; this is what we call
“Coast to Park” that is utilized on smaller wiper
systems. The dynamic park function freezes the motor
electrically when it reaches the park position by
switching the power feed to the motor from positive to
negative. This ensures an accurate park position every
time the wiper is shut off. Dynamic park wipers require
switching designed specifically for this feature.
